Jacqueline Danvers showcased a commercial piece of Trenton — and a suite of Jamaican cuisine — when she transformed her cooking passion into a full-fledged business this weekend.

“This was an opportunity to fulfill my dream,” Danvers said Saturday during the grand opening of Restaurant 5Oh4, a Caribbean and soul food establishment at 504 N. Clinton Ave. “The space was here.”

Now in its fourth year, the Levitt AMP Trenton Music Series presented by the Trenton Downtown Association will build upon its progress, spurring additional economic activity and community participation in the central and accessible Mill Hill Park. The upcoming series will further transform this underused space, giving people of all backgrounds a place to connect and enliven their community through free, live music.

The 2018 Capital City Farmers Market will be offering locally grown produce, hand-crafted teas, flowers, potted plants, sweet treats, freshly brewed coffee, cold-pressed juices, fresh bread, prepared foods and more! This longtime running market held in the heart of downtown Trenton, Mill Hill Park, is a lunchtime oasis for anyone in the downtown area, workers and residents alike. The market runs for six months and is set to start on Thursday, May 17th and run until October 25th, from 11 am - 2 pm in Historic Mill Hill Park, located at 165 East Front St.

Vendors, for example, are offered the opportunity to sell their wares only part of the time and several take advantage of this offer, signing up for weeks rather than months. TDA provides the tents and supplies for the booths and also cleans up after the market’s closing times. Vendors only need to bring their wares and tables.
